| David Mirabile has been hand
crafting excellent "art" knives for many years in his home state
of Alaska. What is singularly unique about David's knives
are that they are made as "user" knives first, and the artistry
are a result of this work methods and materials of choice, often
reflecting the natural resources in his area. His blades
are all hand forged, and almost exclusively uses
ancient ivories , artifacts, and bone for his handles,
and joined occasionally
with a touch of Eastern flair.
His knives can be found in the belts of Alaska's rugged outdoors
persons and many in the fishing community. As the
consummate artisan David let's his work speak for him. He
is not of the tactical-hype crowd and his bladeware posses a
different voice and grace; part mountain man and part poet.... |
