The Bug Out Anorak is TAD Gear's lightest weight, ripstop nylon, specialized hardshell.  Full featured waterproof-breathable, year-round pullover which locks out inclement weather in a light weight and low volume package. 
Very compact and portable, this anorak can be stashed in any pack. Without a full zipper, an anorak allows for better material coverage of the wearer as well as reduced bulk and weight.  They are typically worn for extended periods of time without a need to be taken on and off.  In extreme alpine conditions, a hardshell would be worn the entire day or until shelter and camp is established.

TAD Gear Storn Shield Edge 3 layer water proof-breathable, DWR treated, matte finish, poly/kevlar fabric.

 

3 layer with bonded inner facing acts in a capillary action to provide additional "stay dry" performance.

 

3 layer also means no bulky, old and outdated hanging liners.

 

Subdued matte macro finish.

 

DWR treated outer surface sheds rain and snow.

 

Full length pit zips for fast heat venting.

 

1 hirise chest "kangaroo" pocket with internal d-ring gear keepers.
