TAD Gear is
proud to introduce our latest specialized hardshell.
The Combat Anorak is one of the toughest, most abrasion
resistant jackets anywhere. This is a dedicated
service hardshell specifically tasked for alpine and
mountain environments. The classic anorak design, with
its distinct partial front zipper was intended to reduce
penetration from the harsh winter and/or high altitude
conditions. This traditional shell design was
typically worn for long periods of time when constant
protection from the elements was required. |

alpine-mountain arenas, the Combat Anorak is another state

The
TAD Gear Combat Anorak
uses our special "Storm
Shield EDGE"
3 layer, waterproof-breathable Kevlar reinforced shell fabric. Going
beyond our regular Storm Shield 3 layer fabric,
this version of our high performance, technical material has
all the familiar well known benefits of a waterproof-breathable
textile, but now has the highest abrasion resistance of any
hardshell available on the market, anywhere. Our Storm
Shield EDGE is designed to provide extra protection against the
tools and equipment commonly found in alpine and mountaineering
arenas. Crampons, steels edges from telemark and alpine
skis, climbing equipment, ice axes, pitons, and other related
tools can wreak havoc on typical hardshells. Our Storm
Shield EDGE will provide that extra level of protection in one
of the toughest dedicated alpine hardshells on the planet. |
