The TAD Gear "D.F. Gray".
"D.F." designates our custom "D.ark
F.ield" Gray color. This is our specially formulated
darker neutral grey tone. At the request from numerous urban, city center
based LE officers we created a unique shade of darker gray which was as
neutral as possible and a new departure from the standard black.
Similar to our U.E. Gray the new D.F. Gray works very well with
black while still appearing very neutral in most urban environments. While black will always be a classic color, this new
dark gray fulfills
much of what the subdued nature of black can achieve in an urban
environment while still lowering the wearer's visibility to others by
reducing the contrasting footprint. Working well with many
other subdued tones and colors, our D.F.. Gray enhances any wearer's
uniform appearance in the contemporary city landscape of the 21st
century and beyond.
