This is the all black tactical version as used
by the French Legionnaires and their anti-terrorist GIGN. Climbing, mountaineering, glacier travel, wall
workouts--whatever you do, the top-of-the-line Calidris can do it, too. It's the
most versatile harness in Petzl's Elite series and offers a wide range of
performance, comfort and safety features. One of the most innovative is Petzl's
patented Delta System, a new breathable leg loop design with distinctive edges
for even weight distribution across the thigh contact area. The lower edge of
the leg loop is circular, but the upper edge is oval to ensure even pressure and
ergonomic comfort. As a result, you enjoy a better fit, more confidence and
enhanced mobility. The Double Back Buckles don't require manual back threading,
giving you an added margin of safety. Finally, the Calidris has four molded
nylon Fast Forward gear loops that jut away from the harness for quicker access
